Faces are Deceptive

By Dr. Medhavi Chourey

How innocent people appear when they meet

They are all sugar when they greet

The first look and you start trusting them

After years you realize they are not a gem

Reality bites!! By then it's too late

You thought he/she was your soul mate

With convenience you were deceived

You could not have actually perceived

By the time you realize there is no going back

The courage to retaliate and spell out you lack

So never judge a book by its cover

Read all the pages till it is over

Remember faces in reality are deceptive

Ponder over the moves and be receptive
