we were talking about war and sports

and the whole double standard thing about violence–

it’s okay if you’re in a uniform:

a uniform legitimizes, i say

it anonymizes, you say at the same time

we stop

wondering if they’re the same

wondering why they’re the same

wondering who put the blindfold

on the Lady of Justice
